Several professional gamblers have amassed fortunes by just gambling. Money won through gambling is reasonable easy money and many people enjoy the thought of it. Some people have also been known to gamble to make money to fulfill a financial need. Although, gambling is not a safe way to earn money, if luck is on your side, you could easily pay off your entire mortgage!

The social nature of a casino is another major attracting factor for many gamblers. People love the glitz and glamour and adrenaline charged atmosphere of a casino and frequent it just for the ambience. In the case of celebrities, gambling is sometimes also a means to support a social cause. A charity bingo game or charity poker is frequent among many gamblers.
