The Gaming Club Casino Review

When you are shopping for a new online casino home one key thing to look at is how long have they been in business. Often times this one telling fact can tell you quite a bit about how trustworthy they really are. You don’t want to get sucked into playing at a club that comes and goes faster than this years fashion trends, so this is information that you need to know. The Gaming Club is one of those special establishments that should put your mind at ease. They first opened their virtual doors way back in 1995, which in virtual years translates to eons. So now we get to decide if The Gaming Club can still keep up with its much younger competition, or should they be put out to pasture?

Well they aren’t showing any signs of slowing down with their up to date technology and eCOGRA accreditation. As a part of the very dynamic Belle Rock Group, The Gaming Club has the backing to be the best and defend their throne. We still think that their official Joker mascot is a little un-nerving, but we forgive them.

The Gaming Club does have a special UK dedicated website which is something that we always like to see. While the site was tidy and well laid, out it did feel a little dated in overall design and decoration. Navigation was not terrible, but the new user info could be presented more clearly and in a more prominent location. The information they have available is very good and covers a broad scoop of use full topics, but it can be hard to lay your hands on. We would like to see this right on the main screen out in the open for all to see.

While navigation may prove to be a bit of a challenge for some, we are happy to report that the games are wonderful. Like all the sites in the Belle Rock family, The Gaming Club is using Microgaminig’s Viper package to power their casino. This software has the chops to deliver 150 glitch free games all while creating a realistic feel. The installation of this bounty does come with a hefty load of 93Mb, and thus may take awhile if you aren’t sporting a quick connection. However, if you are still fighting the dial-up dinosaur or other connection problems there are two other choices. You have the option of either having the company mail you your very own CD copy of the software or you can choose to download the lite version of the club. With this choice, two games load right away and then others trickle in the background as you play. There is also a non-downloading instant play option here but the over all quality is just not the same.

When we see the name Flash we just get so excited that this may be one of those rare sites that is up and running for Mac users. It was to avail here though as The Gaming Club currently supports only Windows based systems. This may be more on Microgaming that it is on The Gaming Club as it seems that this limitation extends to all the sites they support. So while we really want to see this updated it seems as through Microgaming is the one we need to fuss at.

As a part of playing with a Belle Rock Casino, players get the chance to take advantage of the Belle Rock Buddy. This is a very neat little tool that you download onto your own system. It does a great job of organizing all your accounts into one convenient place and gives you access to all the doors in the Belle Rock Group. It is not something that you have to have, but it is a nice touch and a fun little extra to have access to. Plus we think that it really goes a long way to show Belle Rock’s commitment to player satisfaction. It’s not a must have, but they also didn’t have to offer it at all.

The Gaming Club may not be the most unique casino we have ever had the chance to visit, but that doesn’t mean that they are a poor choice in any category. They do offer a distinctly more European flair than some of their other family members which may appeal to a number of UK players. We really appreciate the number of free games they make available to their customers. With that many options on the floor it would get very expensive to try them all, and this way at least you can get a good sample before you start to invest your own money into things. In the end this is an old favourite that has proven they have what it takes to stick around for the long hall. If a solid consistent performance over time backed by a great company is what your after, then don’t hesitate to try things out over at The Gaming Club. You might just find exactly the kind of place you have been searching for.
