When playing Power Blackjack, the goal is to beat the Dealer by achieving a total card value as close to 21 points as possible.
First you have to place a bet.
Once that is taken care of you will need to click the DEAL button to start the game.
You will be dealt two cards, both face up, while the Dealer is dealt only one face up card.
All Blackjacks pay 3 to 2.
Players have the options of doubling down on any two cards.
Once a card is split, only one additional re-split is allowed.
When a pair of Aces is split, each Ace receives only one additional card.
Players have the option of doubling down on any initial two-card hands of a split or re-split hand.
Blackjack is only possible with the first two cards of each hand. It is not an option for any split or re-split cards.
First two cards may be split if they total either 15 or 16. Also, neither one of the cards can be an Ace.
If Player chooses to double down on an initial 9,10, or 11, then the player also has the option of replacing the initial double down card.
A maximum of eight cards can be drawn for and given hand. If a player has an eight-card then they automatically beat any dealer hand other than Blackjack.
Dealer must always hit up to 16.
Dealer must stand on all hands totaling 17 or above. This includes all soft values where an Ace can be counted as either a 1 or an 11.
If the Dealer ends up with a hard 22 then all Player main-game bets push. If the has Player Blackjack then Dealer will not try for a 22. Similarly, if a player has an eight-card hand where the value does not exceed 21, this will always beat a Dealer hard 22.
Players can buy insurance on any hand where the Dealer's face up card is an Ace. If the hand results in a Dealer Blackjack that the Insurance Bet pays 2 to 1.
A Dealer Blackjack beats all Player outcomes and causes the loss of all Player main bets. The only exception to this is when Player and Dealer both show Blackjack. In this case they hand results in a push and the player?s bet is returned to them.
Each game is played with the combination of 6 standard decks playing cards, each containing 52 cards. The decks are re-shuffled before each hand.
Any game malfunction automatically voids all bets and payouts.
In the game of Blackjack, all face cards are worth 10. Each Ace can be worth either 1 or 11, while all other cards are worth their face value.
The term Blackjack refers to a hand where the first two cards dealt to the player result in a total of 21 points. This can only happen when a player is dealt a 10 point card along with an Ace.
At the start of the game the Dealer will have one face up card. If that card happens to be an Ace, then you have the option Insurance against a Dealer's Blackjack. It is your choice whether or not you choose to accept or decline that option. If you choose to accept then the game will automatically place a second bet on the table, equal to half of your original bet. If the Dealer has Blackjack at the end of the hand, then your Insurance Bet is paid 2 to 1.
If the first two cards dealt to you result in a Blackjack, then you are a guaranteed winner for that hand. If the Dealer has anything but a Blackjack then you are paid out at 3 to 2 on your original bet. If the Dealer has a Blackjack as well, then the hand is a tie, and you win back our original bet.
If you are not dealt a Blackjack in the first two cards, then you have the chance to try and improve the overall outcome of your hand. Depending on the cards you hold, any one of the following options is possible:
HIT - This means that an additional card is added to your pile. A player can continue to hit cards until they choose to stand, their total card value adds up to is 21 (this will automatically stop play), or until you bust by exceeding the 21 point limit for a given hand. If you bust, then that?s it, your bet is forfeit and your hand loses no matter what the dealer has.
STAND - You stay with your current point value and want no further cards added to your hand.
SPLIT ? When your first two cards are of identical rank then you have the option of splitting your hand. To do this simply click SPLIT to split your cards into two separate hands. Doing this also places an additional bet on the new hand that is equal to your original bet. Remember that when you split hand and are dealt two cards totaling 21 this is still not a Blackjack. If you choose to split a pair of Aces, remember that only one further card may be dealt to each Ace. Also each hand may be re-split only one time. You can do this by clicking the SPLIT button again. Each time a new hand is created, another bet equal to the original bet will be placed on that hand.
POWER SPLIT ? If your first two cards total to 15 or 16, but do not contain an Ace, then you have the option of choosing to power split those cards. By clicking the POWER SPLIT button, these cards are spilt into two separate hands. While you can double down on either side of the split, the hand may not be re-split a second time. The option to Power Split is only available on the first two cards.
DOUBLE DOWN ? If you click DOUBLE DOWN after the first two cards are dealt, then your bet will be automatically doubled and you can receive exactly one additional card at this point. You also have the option of doubling down on the first two cards of any split or re-split hands.
POWER DOUBLE ? This option comes into play when your first two cards add up to 9,10, or 11. Now instead of being able to DOUBLE DOWN, you are offered the chance to POWER DOUBLE. This works much like your standard double with the exception of one very key difference. With a Power Double the player has the chance to keep the next card or replace it with the next card in the deck. The Power Double option is only available for use on the first two cards.
Your total hand value is displayed on the circular plaques next to each hand. As you hit your hand the plaque will automatically displays your new total. If you have an Ace in your hand that value will flash between a hard and soft total figuring the Ace as either a 1 or an 11.
In cases where you are comparing your hand versus the Dealer's hand then your Aces are counted in such a way as to represent the highest possible total not resulting in a bust.
Once you play your hand through without exceeding 21, then the Dealer has their turn.
If the Dealer shows a Blackjack then the game is over and you lose. The only exception to this rule is when you also have a Blackjack in which case the hand is pushed and your bet returned.
When the Dealer's total card value is 16 or lower, then they are required to hit. They must continue to hit until the total card value is 17 or higher. If the Dealer's total card value is over 22, then the Dealer busts and you win. If the Dealer's total card value is exactly a hard 22, then your bets push. Other than these special situations your total and the Dealer?s total are compared, and who ever is closer to 21 without going over is the winner. If there is a tie, then the hand is a push and your bet is returned.
If you bust then the Dealer wins. The only time they will be dealt another card is if you have an Insurance bet on the table.
To start playing Power Blackjack, first select click on a chip at the bottom of your playing field to select a chip value. You can tell what you have selected because it will become highlighted and will show in a raised position.
Now, click on the circle in the center of the table in order to place your bet. Each time you click the circle another chip will be added to the pile.
Your bet must meet the minimum table requirements, but still cannot exceed the maximum bet.
Once your chips are on the table simply click the DEAL button to begin your game.
Click the REBET AND DEAL button to re-set the table to your previous bet and immediately start another game. This is only an option if you have sufficient credits in your account as this button restores your previous bets and initiates play all in one click.
Clicking the REBET button will re-set the table to your last bet without starting a new game. This way you can make any changes that you feel are necessary before play begins. You will still have to click the DEAL button to start the game.
Clicking on the DOUBLE BET button will double your current bet. This is only an option if your account has enough credits to cover the addition bet. Also if doubling your current bet would cause the total to exceed the table limit, then the DOUBLE BET button is not available.
If you choose the DOUBLE BET button option before you place any new bets than it is the same as choosing the REBET button followed by the DOUBLE BET button. Your previous bets will be reset and doubled, but you will still have to click the DEAL button to start the game.
You have two options with which to remove a bet from the table. If you want to remove individual chips then hold down the SHIFT key while you click on the pile on the table. If you want to clear the entire table, then simply click on the CLEAR button.
At the start of each hand the Dealer is dealt one card face up on the table. If this card is an Ace then you have the option of placing an Insurance Bet. All you have to do is click the YES button to place an Insurance Bet, or click the NO button to place no addition bets and just keep playing.
If you choose to place an Insurance Bet, then it is an automatic amount that is one half of your main bet for the hand.
If the Dealer?s hand results in a Blackjack, then each Insurance Bet is paid at 2 to 1. However if the Dealer does not have Blackjack, then the Insurance Bet is forfeit.
