Texas Hold'em Bonus

How to Play

In the table game version of the fan favorite Texas Hold’em you get to play against the Dealer rather than other players. The object of the game is still to have the best overall hand formed from a combination of the 5 community cards and your own two cards.

If at the end of the game you have the best hand, then all Flop, Turn, and River bets are paid 1:1. Also, if your hand is a straight or better, you are paid 1:1 on the Ante bet, otherwise your Ante is pushed.

Getting Started:

Select your Ante bet and place it on the table, then click DEAL to start the game.

Both you and the Dealer will each be dealt two hole cards that remain private.

Now you chose to either:

FOLD Place your cards face down on the table and give up your Ante with no further play.

BET Match your Ante bet and continue the hand.

If you choose to bet, then the hand continues with no additional bets required to see the remaining cards.

After the Flop bet, the dealer will lay three community cards face up on the table. Now you have the option to take advantage of the Turn bet. This means that at this point your options are to:

CHECK Allow play to continue without raising the stakes.

BET Raise the stakes by betting an additional 1x your Ante bet.

Now the dealer will add a 4th community card face up in the middle of the table. At this point you choose whether or not you want to place a River bet. This is the same set-up as the Turn bet and will follow then exact same steps.

Remember that the Turn and River bets are only an option when you have enough credits in your account to cover them.

Once all the cards are on the table, if your hand is better than the dealers then you win! All of your Flop, Turn (if placed), and River (if placed) bets are paid at a 1:1 ratio. Also if your hand held a straight or better (see Poker Hand Rankings) then your Ante bet is matched as well. If your hand is not a straight or better then your Ante bet is returned to you.

Rules

All hands are dealt using a standard 52 card deck that is completely shuffled before each game.

Both the player and the dealer are dealt two random hole cards.

Any malfunction in the game voids all bets and payouts.

Poker Hand Rankings

Below is the list of all possible Poker hand outcomes. The list is arranged from highest to lowest and the lower you get on the list the more common the outcome. In order for two cards to hold the same rank they have to be of the same value, like two 7s or 3 Aces.

Royal Flush

10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace; all cards must be of the same suit.

Straight Flush

Five cards of consecutive rank; all must be of the same suit. For example, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 of Spades..

Four cards, one of each suit, all with the same rank.

A combination of a Three-of-a-Kind and One Pair.

How To Bet

To start a game of Texas Hold 'em Bonus Poker, you must first place an initial Ante bet.

Select your desired chip value by clicking one of the chips located at the bottom of the playing field. Which every value you choose will be displayed in a raised position. You can then placer your bet by clicking on the large Ante bet spot directly in front of you on the table. Each time you click the Ante bet button, you will add one more chip to your bet. Table minimums and maximums do apply here and your Ante bet must meet the criteria. Also, your remaining account balance has to be large enough in order for you to place a Flop bet.

If you want to remove your bets you can click the CLEAR to clear the table. If you don’t want to start over but instead just want to remove a chip or two, hold down the SHIFT key a click your stack of chips. Each click will remove one chip.

If your account holds sufficient funds, then the REBET AND DEAL button will automatically repeat your last bet and start a new game.

Clicking the REBET button will automatically set-up your last bet without starting a new game. This gives you time to make any changes you might want before you click DEAL and start play.

Every time you click the DOUBLE BET button your current Ante bet will double. Again this is only an option if you have sufficient funds in your account to cover the bet. Also, this option will only double your Ante bet, all bonus bets will be left at the same level.

Clicking the DOUBLE BET button before you place your Ante bet is like clicking REBET and then DOUBLE BET. You will still have to click DEAL to start the game.

Comparing Poker Hands

At the end of each game both your hand and the Dealer's hand are decided by the best possible combination of 5 cards out of the 7 available to you. Your two hole cards and all five community cards are fair game in building the best hand that you can. If there is a tie for the best hand then all bets are pushed. Only the five best cards are taken into account and a 6th card is not used as a tie breaker.

The highest ranked hand always wins.

If both you and the dealer hold the same ranked hand, then the hand with the higher values wins. For example: a pair of 7s beats a pair of 4s.

For a Two Pair outcome, the hand with the higher high Pair wins. For example, a hand consisting of 2, 2, 9, 9, beats a hand consisting of 7, 7, 8, 8, since the high Pair of 9s beats the high Pair of 8s. If the high Pair happens to be the same then the lower Pair is taken into account. For example: a 6, 6, A, A, beats a 4, 4, A, A, because the high Pair matches and the low Pair of 6s beats the low Pair of 4s.

For a Full House, the hand with the higher value Three-of-a-Kind always wins. For example, K, K, 8, 8, 8, beats an A, A, 5, 5, 5, because the three 8s beat the three 5s.

If you are comparing hands with a Straight, Flush, or Straight Flush, then hand with the highest high card wins. For example: a 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Straight beats a 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Straight. This means that a 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Straight beats an A, 2, 3, 4, 5, Straight because in this case the Ace is not being used at the high card, the 5 is.

If the winning outcomes are the same between two hands, then the remaining cards in the hand are taken into account. For example; a 5, 3, 3, 8, 8, will always beat a 4, 3, 3, 8, 8. Since both pairs have matching values, the remaining high card is the deciding factor. The same rule holds true for hands with only one pair as well.
