Do you know what a “WPT” is? In the fanatical online world it seems as though you can never be confident. As they definitely have a claim to the gaming world, we can see this one. For those of you who are not familiar, the World Poker Tour is a very popular TV show that has turned Poker into a sort of sport watched in over 60 countries. So we know that they can run a poker table, but does that give them the know how to run the whole casino floor?

The link for the WPT Casino is conveniently located on the WPT online Poker room home page. The visual aspects just don’t match up with everything else that WPT has to offer throughout their site. We don’t mean to say that it was ugly or poorly delivered, just different from what we were expecting. When we looked into the language options available on the site we found several listed, but it turns out that those are only available for the Poker room. This is what we were talking about when we said that there was no smooth integration of the two.

At WPT Casino there is a sliding scale wagering system that is quite hard to follow, but when you get the hang of it the set-up seems to be competitive with what else is out there today. The rest of the current promotions were all related to the Poker room only, so this is an area where we would like to see some more depth in the future.

The biggest problem with WPT Casino is their lack of consistency. In some areas they are integrated with the WPT Poker room while in others they go their own way. They need to choose one path or the other and stick with it until the end. This will help clear up all the confusing details that are hard for players to follow. If Poker is your game, then this is the perfect place for you. Here you can indulge your passion and still take advantage of some high quality intermission entertainment. If not it’s still worth a look. The problems will hopefully clear up and the games are already great.
